Popsicle or Slushie anyone?

I was trolling our vendors websites for tasty new treats, when I came across some fun, made for summer recipes that I had to share! These are made using our Fruit Drink Concentrate mixes and are available for purchase in the clinic as well as our on-line store.  Recipes follow=)

Popsicle

Items needed: Popsicle molds, popsicle sticks, ABC fruit concentrated drink  mix

Prepare fruit drink concentrate mix as directed on the package.  Then pour the mixture into an ice-pop mold (available at your  local grocery store), place popsicle sticks into center of the mold and place in the freezer.  Wait a few  hours for mix to freeze, then eat and enjoy!  This tasty dessert is only 60-70 calories, dependent on the flavor chosen, and 15 gms of protein, to help keep your sweet tooth satisfied while you stay full.

Slushie

Items needed: ABC fruit concentrated drink mix, ice, blender

Prepare fruit drink concentrate mix as directed on the package.  Then place in blender with 6 ice cubes.  Blend until the ice is finely chopped but still has a slushie texture.  Pour into a glass and enjoy! As with the popsicles, these treats are 60-70 calories and 15 gms of protein.
